Bring a Friend - achievement

Hello,

This question is about the Bring a Friend - achievement.

I shared the invitation link with my brother (username : PrinceAnanas) and he joind the website, played a game a added me as a friend, but I still dont got the achievement.

Could somebody please help me?

bruh it's a chess.com achievement just focus on getting good at the game

Hey,

Something wasn't done right. If you invite a friend using the invite option in your account (enter email and click invite), then you should have gotten the achievement instantly. If your brother had to add you as friend after he joined the website, then he didn't use your invite, because you would have become friends automatically.

Sorry for renowing an old forum but it happened to me too. I invited a friend, he didn't upgrade, it didn't add as friends automatically and i didn't receive the bring a friend archievement. I will read your guide NightWish.

If you used the link from Friends > Invite Friends  you should get the Bring a Friend achievement.

this happened to me too

i did it two times, you can check my profile, I have two "Successful Referral!" awards, because i invited two people to chess.com, but i don't have the "Bring a Friend" achievement

You might contact support and they should be able to unlock it for you.
