Can't turn off last move highlighted

Hi, I've noticed that daily games on the app suddenly have an highlight for the last move made where the spaces moved to and from are a highlighted shade. I find that distracting and always turn it off. But I see that the option is already turned off and the highlight remains. I've tried to turn it on and then off again but the issue is not resolved.

Anyone else having this issue or know how to address it? Is this due to a recent update?

It's on the list to be fixed so it would depend on it's priority with other work and it's complexity. All I can tell is a developer has the ticket

Looks like the bug is fixed in code and probably won't take too much longer to get released. It's doesn't appear to be in the last beta version that was released a couple of days ago, so might might be a couple of weeks out

Yeah, The highlights are kinda distracting and annoying.

The fix should be available in 4.6.37 when it's available. I think it's still a beta release right now.
