Daily games have no bearing on name changes. A Live session will prevent it.

To avoid confusion, you cannot change your username while you are involved in live chess or registered for any live chess competition. Please try again after you finish playing. ( tryed everything, logged out, etc etc )

Did you close all tabs and devices using the site? One background tab is enough to keep an open session.

If you still can't get it to work, support should be able to.

You already changed your username once and can't do it again. If you really want to change again contact support directly:

I have the same issue. It’s so stupid. I can’t believe they haven’t fixed this. Shame on them. 

You can try logging out, logging back in, and immediately try to change your username.

So its says I already changed, you can only changed it once, but before I can change like 3x
