Yet once again as an experiment, I tried to insert a diagram into this comment here - no problem.
The problem only exists for me in blog comments.

unfortunatley this is going to take a little time to fix. it isn't simple, and the guy who needs to do it is working furiously on LIVE chess. might take a week or more to get done :(

I tried to insert a chess diagram into a comment on a member's blog. The window materialized, but with the warning: error on page and the window remained blank. I re-booted my computer, just in case, and tried again - with the same results. As an experiment, I tried to make a blog page (on my own blog, that is) and found I could insert a diagram with no problem, so I returned to the original blog and tried again - but with the same, original result. Again as an experiment, I went to a different individual's blog and tried to insert a diagram into a comment, but had the same problem.
Something weird is afoot.
