Clock Problem

In my most recent game, my opponent was letting the clock run out. I had over 7 minutes left. Suddenly, opponent had 7 minutes and I had 59 seconds. Opponent won due to timeout.

I don’t know what happened. Please view and venture a guess. Cheating or technical problem?

You were disconnected from the live server and when you got reconnected it updated to the correct times.

Something is wrong here. I have good internet connection. 120Mbps down & 57Mbps up and the opponents timer runs down without showing me their move then sits at zero and all of a sudden it says I abandoned the game!

Strange, I have a strong internet connection, which tells me the server disconnected from me. First time this has happened.

There are a lot of connections between your device and the site servers. The provided link above finches some steps to try and minimize issues from your end. However, there can be an issue between you and the site that wouldn't be at the server end.

That explains it in more detail.
