Clock running on opponent, but I loose the game (abandont by I eventually)

Game is being played. I make the last move. Clock running on the opponent with plenty of time left. Clock runs out. Game freezees with 0.01 on the clock for the opponent. Couple of secounds later, game tells me opponent won because I abandoned the game. This has happened twice in couple if days.

This happens because of your internet connection. If you are playing a game and it is your opponent's move and your internet goes out, your opponents time will look like it runs out, but Chess.com cannot register that you opponent has made a move until your internet gets back. When it does get back, most likely your opponent made a move, and since you disconnected, the game got abandoned.
