if there is something listed in "New Comments" then that means that you haven't read the new comment yet. i'm not sure what dates you are talking about. help?
i'll test the other bug where you have already seen the new comment. that we can fix :)

Whenever I get an alert telling me that I have a "new comment", I click "read" on the alert, and it takes me to my "home" page here, directly to the section listing the threads I've started. The problem is that all the dates on the threads are the date that I started them, not the date of the latest activity. So I have no idea which thread is the one with the new comments on it, unless I've been keeping track of how many responses there have been on each one so I know which one has more responses now.
Also, it seems to still alert me to new comments on a thread even after I've checked that thread and read the new comments, if I went to the new comments through browsing the forums instead of through my home page.
