I bet you are just in a hurry to castle...
If you have this problem you can just use the click mode for castling

Hi,
I'm not in a hurry more than I ever was, and I'd been using the drag method for years. Click method I'm using now, but I absolutely hate it.
I resign and start over. Sometimes I just try to play with the "blunder" I made and sometimes I win. Sometimes I lose. Sometimes I could give a S@#$.
A very weird feature on chess.com is ...
* A piece will drop if you happen to tap the right button while holding the piece. Irrespective of any debate on why the right click happened, it seems a nonsensical feature to include. Why would a right button click cause the piece to drop?
EDIT: the below issue turned out to be due to my brand new MOUSE - the mouse button is buggy. When pressing the mouse button, the contact occasionally gets broken, and the computer thinks you're clicking multiple times... Money well spent! :-/
Hi,
Lately I've had the problem that if I drag pieces then they sometimes drop prematurely - and sometimes I then automatically premove another move (for example, in stead of castling, I move Ke1-f1 and next move automoves Kf1-g1. Currently, I cannot play anymore without getting this every 2nd game. Anyone else suffering from this? How to solve?
PS I have disabled hardware acceleration in firefox, which I'm using. I don't wanna use IE....
