Element not showing up

Whenever I go into the openings tab and start a lesson, the dialogue that explains the opening doesn't show up. It doesn't sound that bad, but I keep continuing to get alternative moves with no idea what it wants because the dialogue box is completely blank. If I ask for a hint, the box remains blank. I am on older hardware and an older version of chrome, but on my last laptop days ago, it worked completely fine. Has this happened to anyone else, and does anyone know how to fix it?

Have you tried switching light/dark to see if that helps?

I already did my daily opening and can't go back to see, but other parts of the site are broken as well. Whenever I try hitting play to go against a bot, it doesn't. There's no interactability with the play button.

Edit: I'm an idiot and didn't know you could replay lessons you've already done; anyways went back to it and light mode didn't solve the issue.
