It has happened a couple of times you are waiting for them to move, they are waiting on you and then all of a sudden you lose by time out when it was showing you still had time and it was their tine that was ticking down. Very frustrating.

What you're describing is a disconnect. Yo got disconnected from the live server.

I get this a lot too. Just now was winning and then got gloated over because I was “too afraid to move”
Martin…this is not a disconnect. Something else is going on. Too many people report the same issue.
I’m also having the same problem, no sign of disconnect. If it was disconnecting it should show that, but i just see suddenly that i lose by timeout, the other player has moved and they have time, and i don’t. This is on an iPhone, maybe platform dependent?
