How can I become unmuted?

Sort:
Mhagda

I'm not sure how to introduce myself, I'm sort of new to Chess.com and to be honest, I really do enjoy it.

But I have a few bad gaming habits from other online games, i.e. I have a instinctive habit to swear whenever I create a huge mistake.

So as a result I was muted, I know its my fault and I do understand the punishment but I just made a friend just before I became muted. Neglecting him because I wasn't able to speak and I feel really bad about it because only he was the one able to exchange manners while I was muted.

I'd only like to know if I'm able to become unmuted so that I can apologise for not being able to respond, I promise I'll break this habit but I don't like to carry burdens like this and I'd like to thank him for the games.

Any response that would be helpful please repost.

You can challenge him for a game and then you can use the chat to communicate.

Hello!

Live Chess Mutes are temporary and usually expire after thirty minutes. You should be back to normal now! Please note, however, that the server does not allow profanity and posting it will result in a warning, mute, or kick.

I wish you the best of luck in your future chess games! :)

Some people receive long chat mutes if they ignore multiple shorter mutings.

How long has this one gone on?

You're posting here so you're not muted. You're also not muted in Live as far as I can tell and haven't been for a few weeks.

Your not muted now and only while chess.com was waiting on your email confirmation.  If you feel like you are muted contact https://support.chess.com with your user name. Good Luck

Oh that is controlled by the club admin team. It doesn't affect your site status. You can contact a club admin to have the mute lifted depending on the reason you were muted in just that club.

That's not instinct.  That's stupid.

Before you post a comment reply just click on the ( " ) quotation marks on the right side of the members comments you would like to respond to. It will automatically add the members comments you would like to post an answer to. Hope that helps. If you ever have a issues you do not understand you can PM me and I will help the best I can happy.png  Cheers
