How do you make a link clickable?

I'm sure it has been asked but I'm on a smart phone so all I can do is copy the url and paste it but when tried it wasn't able to be clicked on.

Hi.. I know how to put links in a post, but how do you put someone, a user, in a post (like the tag feature in facebook). I also need to know how to quote a reply from other's comments/posts in my post.

eg. @Desiderata ... Desiderata .. (T_T can't make it a link.. sob..)

1. Press the quote button at the bottom-right of a post.
2. There's no shortcut for it (that I know of), but you could either copy it or insert a link to their profile.
