Now we'll just have to wait for getting this feature in mobile app 🤡

I don't think it will ever be a thing. The developers are busy copy pasting codes of same bots and give them new name and profile picture every month

It has been so long since this message and chess has not made even one thing about it. Chess needs to start reviewing comments more some are very important.

You can't really disable it. Try turning on comfirm before move.

Wait a second, you already can. It's in Settings>Move method and you can choose both, click only or drag only.

Live chess doesn't have that option on the website.

There have been a number of changes since this topic was created and there are options.

I am talking about when it came and that took pretty long after the message.

Its fixed bro. Used to suck now just a config.

The worst was they would automove in daliy games if it was forced check. That's fixed now too.

I've never heard of or seen that happen.

yep same. but its good idea to be honest. All the forced moves should be moved automatically as there are no other legal moves.

I daily Chess, it should not, as players should have all their available thinking time for every move, regardless.

For live games, it would likely cause a lot of support tickets with people thinking they're hacked. It would also help some members with their clocks as they might not realize that the move is forced and would spend time evaluating the position otherwise.

No. Precisely what it was doing is, if you played a move that resulted in a forced move by the other player, it would automatically accept the move without requiring you to click the checkbox. Even though all other moves require you to click the checkbox. Just because a move forces another move does not mean it is the best move. I agree if the player clicks the checkbox it should auto-move the forced move, but they were skipping the checkbox. In daily games I often "explore" the space by making moves and looking at them before choosing submit. They were just skipping the submit phase, which is wrong and is now fixed.
