thank you
I don't see the "theme" box...
You have to load a position/PGN to see the Theme tab.
Finally, something that makes sense! I'm having trouble with one thing though; I've copied the PGN code, but I can't figure out how to go to a forum to insert the puzzle. Can anybody help?
Hello everyone. I see that a lot of people have a hard time figuring out how to make puzzles. So here is a tutorial. (The first few steps are of course not mandatory but advised, since you want to make sure that the computer agrees with you)
First go to Analysis under ´Learn´
Then click ´Setup´, then you can swap around the pieces or even click the bin to remove all pieces and then place pieces however you like. Click at 'white to move' to control which piece's move it is. There are many more options also. When you are done setting up the beginning of the puzzle, scroll down and click 'load'.
Play around ,analyzing moves. When you are done, click 'download' below the play button.
Then copy the PGN code given there. (By the way, if you prefer, you can use the FEN codes so that you can insert the moves manually)
Now go to the forum you want to insert your puzzle, and click 'insert chess game'. Paste the code you´ve just copied in there at the 'Load from PGN' thing.
Then at 'Moves', you can manually delete moves like this. Inserting the PGN gives perfect play until checkmate, but you can delete moves so that your puzzle becomes shorter. You can also add moves by simply moving the pieces.
Finally, click 'Theme', then 'puzzle', to make it into a puzzle.
Forgive me for my many tablets lol. I hope this helped and many puzzles are made.
You can also go to any game you played, and copy its PGN. That way, you can make it into a puzzle.
