It isn't matchmaking into a game.

i tried joining chess games. and it is in the loading screen while they find an opponent. it isn't finding one .. what do i do.

How long are you waiting?
It is possibly difficult to find someone who will accept a blitz or bullet match with a 500 rated player.
Why don't you try a rapid game? Your 1800 rating there should bring a match.
I am having trouble too. I am trying to play in my 1700 10min. but it isnt even finding an opponent either.
still an issue? I tested just now and everything was okay.
I have full internet connection but still when I am trying to find a match it shows that I can't play because of unstable internet connection and shows that I have been disconnected from the server reload this page . I close the tab and again try to make a match and still not working .Is it some kind of bug or glitch . I am afraid that I got banned . I have been winning some games in a row and people may think that I cheat ,but I didn't .It would be very sad if I got banned cause I really love chess and spent a lot of time on this account .Please advice me to get out of this problem

Hmm, is there some issue other than connectivity you are dealing with? There is no magic solution for paying members versus non-paying members.

There were some server restarts last night that were the likely cause of that.

Aborting a game has been highly discouraged for years. If you abort too often, every abort is treated as a resignation.
You can change your settings to allow you to accept challenges from friends, no matter the rating difference.
The abandonment policy is set out clearly in the Help pages.

i have a problem witch matchmaking since yesterday. After I pick "play" button, I have been disconnected and I see "Matchmaking failed. Please wait a few seconds and try again.". What is wrong?

Can you try clearing your browser cache and see if that helps?
Hello I am also facing same issues of not matchmaking( in all formats)it is saying that matchmaking failed i tried everything including clear cache and hard refresh etc still not working and i also seen that this is problem only with the website as in app matchmaking is taking place Please help :river

What's you browser and version?
Can you post a screenshot of the fail?
