I faced this from the beggining your position gives you an advantage. Because im from asian country bangkadwsh when i played 1|1 i noticed my opponents were losing 1.1 sec on clock on a move. I was also losing 1.1 sec as lowest but then in 1 sec it gives me -0.4 sec for no reason pls fix this i lost 13 games for this. Thank you.

You can see that if you are experiencing a lot of lag.

Hello everyone, I am writing a review on an ALT account. I want to be as detailed as I can be about this. Chess.com is definitely the best website where you can play online chess, and to learn using their Lesson and Puzzle features. I have know how to play chess pretty much my whole life, but only knowing how pieces move and the most basic of basic strategies. My brother had inspired me to get into chess and to learn it at a very detailed and complex level. I began to play almost 20 games a day for a week, than after the first week maybe 30 games. At the end of week 2 I decided to purchase the Diamond membership in order to use their lessons and puzzles unlimitedly. I became fully dedicated to learning as much as I could and continue to learn. Obviously when I play games I have few mistakes here and there, but as I learned and learned after using puzzles and lessons and you tube hours a day, I began to understand what is going on, on the board. At this point my online rating for rapid is I believe to 600 range. In the course of those 3 weeks of me playing games I managed to execute 3 out of 600+ games where I played EXTREMELY well, still had a few mistakes but no blunders, and managed to force a queen sacrifice by checking with knight and no other move for king besides take knight with queen while my queen defended the knight. I was extremely impressed with myself and showed my brother what I managed to do. Anyways.. The next day I go to log on to play chess early in the morning and find that my account had been closed. I tried digging deeper into finding out what happened and as to why. Chess.com states that my "Rating is to low to quality of play.".......... Now can someone please explain to me WHY, that is chess.com provides you with a lesson and puzzle feature for you to LEARN, means that if you end up learning to fast you are considered a cheater. and keep in mind this is 1 out of 600 plus games.... With this information I tried to EMAIL, Direct message on Instagram, Support team website, commented on a instagram post after not hearing back. Even though they state "we will get back to you in 1-3 days" ok..... were going on 11 days now........ WHYYYYY am I being ignored, robbed from my money for paying this company to learn if im just going to get banned for learning to "QUICKLY" for their liking. CHESS.COM YOU NEEEEEEED to get in contact with me... this is getting absolutely RIDICULOUS! This company wont bother to have just 1 of their MANY MANY employees take just 10 minutes to get in contact with me, but rather steal my money until the month is over and claim I don't have a membership or something. Cause believe me I already canceled it after hearing their ridiculous accusations. I am VERYYY VERYYYY VERYYYYYYYYYYY ashamed of the customer support and staff of this corporation. If chess.com wasn't afraid of you getting to good to fast I would definitely recommend getting the diamond membership. But after being EXTREMELY unfairly treated and IGNOREDDDDD I would rate this service 0 out of 10. ONLY because I am being IGNORED and ACCUSED of being "To good for my rating" FOR ONLY 3-4 REALLY GOOD GAMES. HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE???????? Answers, refund, account unlock. NOW PLEASE...

And I will not stop attempting to get into contact with chess.com until they reach out to me and give a full explanation and full refund... Because "Rating to low for quality of play" is no valid reason whatsoever for accepting the closer of my diamond membership account. Unless I am FULLLLLY refunded and have apologized for the unfair and disrespectful treatment I had faced.

When an account is closed for fair play, there's an email sent to the address associated with the account with options, such as appealing the closure or getting a second chance account. If an appeal isn't granted, which they rarely are, then a second chance account can be made and I believe in those cases, existing premium is transferred to that account.

If no second chance account is done, a refund isn't automatically granted though support can be contacted separately, using the win the menu to request one. A different group from the fair play team handles that process .
