Need help redeeming ChessUp2 Chess.com Diamond Discount Code

I purchased the ChessUp2 Diamond Package in large part for the chess.com diamond level discount code. I went to try and use the code and was told that the code is for new diamond members only.

I went back to the https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bryghtlabs/chessup-2/description page and this restriction is not mentioned. The text says "BONUS Voucher For 50% Off Chess.com 1-year Diamond Membership. Redeemable Anytime Over Next 12 Months."

You could open a ticket with Support using the option in the menu but you'll probably need to stop the automatic renewal of your current membership and then redeem the voucher after your current one expires.

That said, if you have an old plan with lower prices, you'll lose that pricing.
