As mentioned in your previous topic, if staff were unable to verify the account belongs to the person requesting the account be reopened then they won't do it. That prevents any malicious attempts to take over old accounts.

Funny how people with no regard for the rules can easily operate with impunity here, by making multiple accounts etc, but someone who tries to follow the rules and get their account approved the right way is met with endless obstacles.
