Opera and forum posts
I know switching browsers may solve the problem, at least for me. But other
Opera users still face the same problem.
Is this possible related to the issues some Linux users have reported in their
browsers?
Meanwhile, I reported the issue to Opera. idon't know what they can do, but
perhaps that will help.
This is a test of the Opera alpha, v 9.5. This is only a test and if it doesn't work properly perhaps an admin could delete the post.
Yes, it seems to work properly in the alpha. Unless Opera development changes something, this issue is really closed, or at least will be when they release 9.5 for real.
The problem seems inconsistent in Opera 9.23. In previous posts today it seemed fixed at first. I was ready to come here and ask if you all changed anything on the site. But then I made another post and the scrolling past the edge of the box was back. Now it's gone again.
So I don't know if anything has really changed, except that the probelm certainly seems inconsistent now.

that is really odd! the truth is that it is out of our hands - it is up to TinyMCE and Opera to work things out :) sorry!
When creating a post in Opera 9.23 for XP it looks like the word wrap feature is
broken. Typing just continues all the way out of the box in a single line until I hit
the enter key. It's like working with a typewriter again!
When I look at the actual post when done the appearance is the same; the line
of type continues out of the post box. I don't know if my posts look the same to
other readers, so I'll do a long line here as an example.
This is the long line just to see if it appears to other reader as it does to me. Please respond to let me know if it looks broken to you too.
It's kind of cool how the line disappears under the box to the right only to
reappear on the other side.
