Problem with friend

I have a problem, I can't remove one user from my profile friends. This is the second time I've had these situations. I did it the same way, I press remove from friends. It shows that it has been deleted. Although it still shows me this person in my friends list and in a few minutes the delete option returns. This is important to me, I wrote to the moderators about it and no response.

There is a known bug on some friends where it doesn't clear. Staff are aware and looking into the issue.

I know the staff knows because this is an issue that has been going on for a year.

Is the solution in this situation to close the account and open a new one?

Is there any chance that the problem will be fixed soon?

I understand that none of the moderators can remove this friend for me?
