Report a bug

Hello, I don't know why but on my profile it says I joined 5 years ago and my membership is since last year. I started only this year, few months ago. Why does it happen? I signed in via google so I thought it may be somehow connected to it but my google account is much older than 5 years. It is not functional bug, so far I was having no problems but it is a bit irritating so if you can help me, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

The account was created in 2018. That data is added to the account when it's created.

Altough I still don't understand why because I don't remember ever creating account or subscribing membership here but thank you. It may be error on my side and I just don't remember. Thank you.

"Error 735: Cannot link up your Facebook account. Another Chess.com account is already connected to this Facebook account."

I have already deleted my previous Facebook's connected Chess.com account. Here, now it is my main account. Now I want to connect this Chess.com account to my Facebook. Then why this error is showing?

PLEASE, Give me a solution so that I can connect my this Chess.com to my Facebook.

the Bug Report Button does not work, also when I try to move a pice, it takes a second to load and sometimes doesn't even work, I just lost a game cause I moved my piece but chess.com didn't move it so I ran out of time

Report a bug is working for me. It can take a few seconds for the code to load

That said, it sounds like you may need experiencing connection issues.

The chess.com app in my Iphone instantly disconnects me as soon as I try to enter it.

Yet, I have a high enough IOS (12.5.7), good internet connection (tried different WIFIs), my other apps work fine, my chess.com account functions well on the computer and a week before the problem occurred, the app didn't malfunction at all. I tried deleting and reinstalling it multiple times but nothing changed.

Sometimes when I move a pawn 2 squares the opponent sees it as 1 square and takes it. Clearly a bug, and how can I fix it?

It's not a bug. It's a legal move called en passant.

There's an app update coming out that should fix that.

It's been submitted to Apple so should be approved soon

i was able to caste to the right even tho the bishop was covering the squares

I was able to caste even tho the bishop was covering the squares

As I recall, its not allowed to castle when the opponent piece is covering the square

hello guys

Muizdhino

I timed out a lot of games due to the fact that I lost my phone, now that I have a new phone, I plan to join various tournaments but it keeps saying you have timed out too many games in the last 90 games. Kindly rectify this for me so I can join tournaments

You'll have to wait until your timeout ratio drops or join tournaments that allow a higher ratio.

Clicking on 'Insights' redirected me to https://www.chess.com/insights/hikaru#overview, even though hovering over the 'Insights' tab shows the status as '/insights/my-name'.

I believe Black can castle because the bishop is not attacking or controlling any of the squares the king passes through or lands on during the castling move.

Only Diamond members have Insights. Since you're not Diamond it forwards you to Hikari's so you can see what the feature looks like
