Ever since the app updates recently the server connectivity problems have got a lot worse. Been like it for a long time now..
Ive also cleared cache and data so server and or app issues .
i was playing on my phone and it says the opponet has 0.00 time left but the game doesnt end no matter if i close and reopen the app
it happend to me twice today
also i just tried pc and this time a game started we played 2 moves and then error 502 WTF
I paid diamond subscription for a year and this situation doesnt feel like premium to me...

There's a bug that is actively being worked on. It doesn't occur often but it's a very high priority for staff to get fixed.

It has been but that doesn't mean you might not encounter issues on occasion, depending on different factors. What problem did you encounter specifically?
I was just told I lost connection, and thereby lost to my opponent in his or her last minute. Why would I have "abandoned"? And it was over in a few seconds. I had also "lost the connection" before, in the same game. Then I "was out" for a longer time. My connection otherwise, is fine, it seems.
