Only staff will be able to help. They don't reopen accounts if they can't verify the person requesting the account be reopened is the person that owned the account originally. That's normally by email from the closed account.

Yeah you trying doing everything. Moderating is not nearly as easy people think it is. People always blame moderators, not realizing that they are not the big dogs when it comes to decisions like this. Give people like Martin a break.

ASH IS MY FIRST FRIEND ON CC, THE REASON I MADE THIS ACC IN THE FIRST PLACE. AFTER I GOT BANNED, SHE CLOSED, BC SHE THOUGHT WE WOULD NEVER SPEAK AGAIN. NOW THEY WON'T LET HER REOPEN.

I have a friend on here called @AlwaysAshley6054. She closed her account about three months ago when I got banned, because she thought I was never coming back. Now, she is trying to reopen it as you are allowed to if you close your account, but support won't let her, even though it has been confirmed she never broke the rules. She has been speaking to a staff member called Emine, who said that she had to associate her account with another email for some reason, which she did. Emine said that was fine, but then the next time they spoke, she said it wouldn't work. Someone better reopen her account NOW, or we will have issues.
and if this thread gets locked, then I guess Chess.com will show their true colours, and I might just have to share this on the internet.
I know this isn't Emine's fault, but there has clearly been a mistake.
