THIS IS NOT FAIR ‼️

I was playing 10 rapid on my last game, I was playing the black pieces, we were just about to start the middle-game after developing our pieces. Now, here's the issue: During the game, as I've said, we were about to start the middle-game, but then my opponent (playing the white pieces) seemed to be afk (away from keyboard), he or she was running out of time, I had rougly 9 minutes above while my opponent's clock on the otherhand was ticking, of course he/ she never made any moves so supposedly I should've won that game because my opponent's time ran out. But HERE's the TWIST, a LITERAL TWIST: Me, MEEEE, I was the one who ran out of time ‼️I was so shocked and I didn't understand why I was the one who ran out of time even though it was my opponent's clock who was ticking and my time never went down from 9 minutes, and that he/ she was the one who ran out of time. It was suppose to be MY VICTORY. I demand an explanation, is there a problem with chess.com? Or did my opponent do something dirty? It isn't fair you know.

Note: My chess.com app is already updated, and my internet is fast.

I have the same issue. During the past few days happened to me 20 times already. I have stable internet connection, and this is something that started almost a week ago
