Weird graphic at beginning of games

I just played a bullet game, I got the graphic, but didn’t lose time. Maybe check your WiFi?
Were you the Black pieces? Black doesn't lose time, but White does.
It doesn't make sense anyway-- I can already see who I'm playing at the top of the screen on ever my game. This is the digital equivalent of me waving my hands between a chess player and the board and distracting him and costing him time... not sure how this got out of dev-test.

Are all platforms similarly affected by this thing? Not sure why the clock is counting down while the screen is covered, or even why it's there tbh.
