Please help somebody!
What happened to my account?!
FChopin99 was disabled by the automatic spam detection routine, which acts against accounts that have sent more than a given number of messages in a particular time frame: unfortunately, this can incorrectly disable Group Admins after they send a messages to all of their group's members. In such cases, they should contact [email protected] or via https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new and their account will be restored and a special indicator applied that tells the automatic routine that they are not a spammer.
However, our Terms of Service (found at www.chess.com/legal) also specify that a person can only have one account active at any one point in time - please decide which account you would prefer to keep, and close the other one (https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/articles/1444763)
Hope that helps - thanks!
Thank you for responding. Although this is my brother's account he never uses it so if you need to you can certainly delete this one. What do I need to do to get my account back?
And of course I never used an engine. What's the point of playing chess if you are going to use an engine? stupid people
this is my brother's account
We hear that a lot: your brother should not be giving you access to his account, as this is also against our Terms of Service (found at www.chess.com/legal). Please get him to change his account password: I have restored your Fchopin99 account.

The auto-closure was not for engine use, but for spam - do you recall sending out a message to all of the members of one of your groups just beforehand? That can trigger this automated routine: if this is something you need to be able to do, please contact the Support team via https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new so they can update your account with the indicator that tells the automatic routine that you are not a spammer.

Not again!? What's wrong with you people?
its a safeguard chess.com has v spamming but as the staff have said it does pick up admins group noting too and cannot draw a distinction ,
for a fortnight space your posts , avoid copy paste as this is same message again and again here is a good example ,
we got a match we need you sign up this link please
now instead of repeating that tweak it to
hi bud weve got this match if you want in
then
a new match awaits you follow link
this will avoid the spam filter
hope this helps chess.com also try to make sure that accounts are re opened quickly when this happens so get friends to query the ban with chess.com support
Or, you know, chess.com could get it's shit together and not automatically instaban their most active users.
whilst it remains an issue i think admins need to be aware , im not in admins corner but i would suggest tips on avoiding spam bot there would help in getting the message out
Yeah sorry you can just delete this account if you would like. Thank you sooo sooo sooooo much for restoring it almost gave me a heart attack though haha
Wow David, it's so funny that you didn't ask FChopin22 to supply Chess.com with a copy of his passport, a picture, and your real name as he did with me.
Here is an excerpt of the message he sent me:
Hello Edga,
In order to confirm that you and your brother are actually separate people, I need to use a similar process to that which we use to verify titled players - I am going to need (1) your actual names, (2) a selfie of the two of you with some sort of identification document, such as your passport or drivers licence, and (3) a scanned copy of those documents. These details will be noted in the Administrative Notes for your accounts, but will not be added to any other part of your Chess.com profile that is visible to basic or premium members - you can still choose how much of your real identities you want to share with other people here.
And David, I also find it funny how you send me this message expecting a response, but your account settings will not allow me to respond unless I am your friend.
And it's also funny how they have an "automated routine" to police potential spam, but they claim that they cannot implement a similar routine to police potential hate-speech and cyber-bullying.
Feel free to view the exchange on the forum that he silenced:

My brother decided to chime in thinking he was helping my cause and they treat us the same way the cops in Baltimore treated Freddie Gray.
Hello again Edga,
Although there is a site wide restriction against initiating messages to Staff accounts, you should be able to reply to any messages that Staff send to you: I have received these sorts of replies from other people with no issues, including from TOQATEST. I do not have any additional privacy restrictions set up for my account, as you found when you posted a user note to my profile (which I will now delete as redundant).
As I said to TOQATEST when he also questioned the extensiveness of the requirements you quoted, they are the same process Chess.com uses to verify the identity of titled players: in other words, if you see the "GM", "IM", "FM", "CM" etc against someone's profile here, you can be sure that they have verified their identity to Chess.com and are definitely have the corresponding title from the relevant body (FIDE, USCF, etc).
I also sent a subsequent message to both him and yourself agreeing that these were very strict requirements, and offering an alternative of providing Facebook accounts of yourselves and/or your parents so I could verify your identities with them: you seem to have made the previous posts without reading that message first - I would appreciate your opinion on those options.
Regarding the above case, both accounts already had names that sounded like brothers ("Matthew Johnson" and "Noah Johnson") and have not conducted themselves in a way that suggested they might be trolling, so I made a judgement call to accept their statement as truth, while cautioning them against the sharing of accounts: however, your behaviour to date did not encourage me to believe that TOQATEST was telling the truth when he claimed he was your brother, especially since there was this third account from the same IP address claiming to be a "gay vampire" that you have also been talking about as if it were a separate person - and which you still have not yet given me any explanation for. Given these factors, I felt (and still feel) that I need stronger proof that you are in fact brothers and not the same person trolling us.
This is terrible!! Oh my goodness!!! NO!! My account, FChopin99, was deleted! Was this a mistake?! There was no warning whatsoever. I had points, trophies, diesent ratings, I was the admin of clubs, I had friends, and suddenly it said "YOUR ACCOUNT HAS BEEN DELETED.". Did I do something wrong? I didn't know and I'm sorry! I would have appreciated a warning! Can you have my account reinstated and tell me what I did please?!
