Any Grand Masters willing to play with lower rated players?
Go to Twitch and look for streamers playing viewers and send them a challenge. That's how I actually got my first ever master win in a 3+0 blitz game (dirty flag against a master who was more focused on chatting than playing).
nope. you challenge them, they dont even CARE. my brother challenged Hikaru Nakamura to a bullet game, and of course he didnt care (no offence Hikaru)
I was wondering if there are any GM's willing to play with lower rated players? Who has got this chance? Can that happen at random online tournaments? My dream is to play a blitz game with a Grand Master!!
huh? I played one a few months ago. @Illingworth. I am just giving link. I was horrible at that time (i will lose now too of course). It was blitz, i went to open challenges and to my delight i saw his challenge and without a moment to waste i invited it. I rematched and he accepted, WOW!
oops, not able to send the link, you can check though. Go to my blitz stats and go to find games. There search @Illingworth and you will see two games, check them out!
so basically, it is not only GMs, start of with players a bit higher than you. go to live and open challenges. Of course, if you get the opportunity, play masters
GM Ben Finegold plays all comers on his "sub" days on https://www.twitch.tv/gmbenjaminfinegold
You just have to sub to his channel, challenge him to an unrated game and wait. He plays for maximum fun, so he won't try to own you with good positional chess, but rather try for sacrifices and other tactics. He's fun to watch, fun to play and will still being instructional as well.
Yes, it can happen in things like Titled Tuesday. If you have high ratings, you can play titled players too. Many organized tournaments that have prizes also have GM's.

Because you have to be a sub, or else there would be too many people.
