Can't observe a player in live chess

There used to be a " follow " option when a player was in live, so that you could watch them; and whenever a new game was opened, you'd automatically follow it as well. Now I can only observe a game ( meaning I'll be disconnected when a game ends and they play someone else ) . Have the latest chess.com update removed it?

It does look like the option isn't in the new mini-profile pop-up.

You can type /follow and the player's username to do it still. Not sure if the other option was removed on purpose or not

Where am I supposed to type it? In the chat session?

I tried the /follow in the chat. It says that I am now watching (player's handle) but it does not track from game to game. Is there a way to do that?
