Computer 3 Hard

Computer 3 hard used to crush me when I was younger and weaker. I had like 20 wins and 175 losses. Now though, even when exhausted in blitz I can win at least 80 percent of the time for quick points.

It is because it does not look hard, hangs a couple pieces a game, and does not seem to be very aggressive in ways that could be stopped.

I am not sure why his rating is so high, though he plays players so often, it cant be inflated.

I also found out a trick today: If he plays e4 he will almost always play this sequence that you can win a piece with:

So what do you guys think about this unusual computer?

CRERULES

You are so wrong. i play the computer a bunch of times and he played e4. i played these moves. he doesn't play this. stop posting false information

CRERULES

I lost some times because you tricked me into this opening. I don't know this opening, so i lost

"Almost all of the time"

I looked at his game explorer, and this is the sequence of the main moves. I also tested it, and It worked for me.

Anyways, I don't really have that much trouble defeating him nowadays (usually) and aren't you like 300 points stronger than me?

Oh. right. I just checked, you played bullet. I think he plays different in bullet than blitz...

You claim you don't know this opening:

"Unusual computer"

I don't feel this computer is much strong compared to his rating in blitz/Standard as I too have defeated it in standard time. It is rated 1500+ in all sections but 1400+ rated may usually defeat it.

And yes, I too was crushed with this computer many times in blitz/bullet. But it was easy in standard and with different opening

I really don't know this opening. I mean, i've seen people play it. but i don't actually play it in real tournaments. it is not my opening. i played this opening only to test it out, i really don't know the stuff in the opening

On a different note, does anyone know what the levels of the chess.com computer are or equate to in ratings, ie- is level 4 equvalent to a 1300 player?

i beileve level 1 computer is about less than 1000, level 2 - about  1300, level 3 - about 1600. level 4 - about 1800. and countinues. you get it. i might be wrong. 1 is like easy, 2 is medium, 3 is hard, 4 is insane or something, and 5 is like immpossilbe
