Game stuck until resignation

I was playing a bullet game, and my opponent seemed to abandon it and the clock was running down. But the clock stopped at 0.01 seconds and the game never ended... I reopened the app several times and it kept taking me back to the game. The only way for me to escape it was resigning and losing my rating. After resigning, I saw my opponent's clock went back up to what they had before, as if no time passed...
