how do i play with my friend on live chess??

how do i play with my friend on live chess?? is it can be set up??

go to your friend's chess com profile page. click "Add to my friends list" on the right.

now, if they accept your friendship invite, you become chess.com friends.

now both of you log in to live chess. When you click the "friends" tab on the window on the right, you should be able to see your friends who are online at that time in live chess.

click "play" and challenge them to a game.

what if u dont wanna add them as friend cuz they didnt go to thier email and activate it?

There is no play button. I want to play online, not challenge. What i have to do? 

but i want to play 1 min game with a friend ... how to do that?

I challenge my friend while we are both live but it says he regeted the game but he tells me he never got the invite? So bow we are in a 1 move a day game whem we jist want to play a 10 min live game? Is this posible? 

yes it is possible. I got frustrated with the same problem when I first started using chess.com a while ago. You have to setup the challenge a different way for live games. Go to "Play" and click "Live Chess" then there is an arrow that says "Play a Friend" and then it is just setting up the time controls and such but it is easy from there. The only thing is that your friend needs to click "Live Chess" too (while one sets it up and sends the challenge, the other is waiting at live chess). As soon as the challenge is sent, it should start soon if accepted.
