Server slow

Mate in one? Premove consumes you .1 second.

I know.  They weren't premove situations.  There's something flaky with how they do the clocks.  But...there's no TIMESEAL so it's all bull plop anyway.

But servers work like this

server has been terrible, incredibly slow I'm switching to [another site -- VP] much faster.

Servers work like this?  SERVERS WORK LIKE THIS???  Do you think I'm a MORON??  This is supposed to be a CHESS server!  A chess server makes ALL MOVES EQUAL!  Usually by instituting TIMESEAL on the moves so that lag can BE ACCURATELY compensated!!! Not some voodoo mishmash that overcompensates someone in NIGERIA while I LOSE ON TIME!!!  I MOVE FAST AND STILL LOSE ON TIME???

That means there's something WRONG.  USE TIMESEAL so I and all of us get a FAIR shake at winning a bloody game!

Shame on this site for the baloney they've foisted on us.

The lag is terrible these days  

At first I thought it was my internet connection, but it's not.

Granted there was an outage a day or so ago throughout the Comcast footprint in the USA, but beyond that there's no stability in the feel of play.  Sometimes the pieces whip quickly and sometimes it's like you're playing in molasses.  And it's disconcerting, making playing here an unpleasant experience.

And the worst part of all?  It doesn't have to be this way.  They could have a nice chess server here but instead they went all in on advertising.  Sigh.  Yeah, someone has to pay the bills.... but do you have to make playing such a drag?  It's ALL the time.  

I can't concentrate when I see the clock screen blinking and the notification that i lost connection pops up..At least all this it lasts a couple os seconds only and then I keep playing.
I am sure the problem is not my internet connection, because my wifi is very stable. It only happens when I play on chess.com.

I defeated in max match which I am deserved to won..but network slow the reason my points decreasing

Same here last days, never had any problems and I am not on wifi. Seems to be a server issue.

Had enough of losing games because of the slow server response, will switch to lichess for bullet.

Does anyone knows why i only get a black screen when going into live chess?   I can play daily chess.  My intenet Connection is very good.  I also can confirm that mye mpves goes very slow. Even if i premove, it take at least two Seconds. Often my opponent cam make 2 moves on the same second.

Would you mind starting a new thread (topic) about your issue?  Some more details as to how you're accessing live could help - browser, extensions...computer specs...that sort of thing.

I hardly play on this site anymore.

it's incredibly slow just awful stuff, I understand they want to make money but they should really fix the bugs with live chess
