This is a really good question.
So there's two candidates for longest blitz time control:
9:59+0
0:39+14
These are each 9:59 for 40 moves.
In USCF OTB play, 10+0 is considered blitz. But of course +0 OTB is more like -0.9 on chess-com, since you can move in 0.1 seconds on chess-com with the best ping times or pre-move, but OTB it takes closer to 1.0 seconds.
I wonder how many 9:59+0 games get played on chess-com. It would improve my rating versus 5+5 since I have a slow brain. But 5+5 is pretty good: that's 8:20 for 40 moves.
