hahah, i just watched my time go from 3 seconds to out of time.    this has nothing to do with lag.

lose a queen and lose 10s? who the hell put that in your head?! you spend 10s on a move, you lose 10s on the clock! and you have lost count of how many kings you have had in your hand? what do you mean?

😆 woah calm down

But lose a queen and lose 10s is quite funny

New game mode?

It is server lag.  Ive had it happen to me multiple times in both ways.  Thats why you have to play with a good, reliable computer with good, reliable wifi

god i love waiting for my opponent to move and suddenly i'm out of time and he has 13 seconds left.

Titakits

Happens to me all the time. Checked the games i lost on time and some of them i could literally see i had 9 seconds left. Why so crap.

I've sent chess.com games that I've played where I've placed Checkmate and started to hear the Checkmate sound from the app and my time was zero and I didn't get the win when I replayed the analysis of the game after closing and opening the app it didn't show my final move

I move immediately with a piece but instead of losing 0.4 sec I loose 6 sec sometimes 20 seconds !, I mean wth is that like really??? First I thought it was the internet problem. But I'm running 4k video and everything is fine but on chess.com it's bad!, I have now realized I loose most Games on time ⏲️ 🙃 Bro please tell what to do!,,

Try playing with an internet connection from India. I have lost countless number of games on time where I lost more than 0.1 seconds per premove. I have an instant disadvantage during a time-scramble.
If I didn't lose more than 0.1 seconds per premove and chess.com didn't randomly decide to disconnect me during games, I would be the best bullet player on chess.com

It doesn't happen to me *often*, but it does happen. Especially on (the other site). I'll premove and still lose 10-15 seconds. Here, it's usually more like 3-4 seconds per premove. Fortunately, it's another reason to avoid bullet chess, and avoiding bullet is a good thing. :-)
