I hit 2600 puzzle rating, is that good?
You are on your way up.
I dabble around 3400 recently, mostly solvable if I take my time. I equal these of 3400 on chess.com to 2500 on Lichess.
I made to 2900+ in puzzles on Lichess. I find recent super instructive, already GM class puzzles if you ask me. Sometimes it takes me good hour or even more to solve the position! It is surely different when you know there is the move than finding it over the board without knowing it but it is good way to improve your game.
When Mister Elo invented the formula he was thinking of chess to use it for. But its still jus a math number. It does absolute nothing to measure chess skill. It only measures relative performance of a closed pool of contestants at *whatever it is they are doing.* So of course higher is better. But still. When a server like this has a puzzle that owns some Elo number. Or when the Game Review feature guessimates the level u were playing at for that game. It hasta be a programmer for the bot or an Elo assigner for a puzzle who at some point just plugs in *that sounds about right* Its just not a very scientific number like how Elo ratings relly work.

Mr elo? was that a person?
Anyway. For life of me idk where they get some of the numbers from for the Puzzles. They cant claim its a medium or some 50 %ile of players who make or miss. No way. Weve all seen the easy ones thats little more then mate in 1 but they call it *1650* or somethin. If a puzzle like that had a rating for who makes or misses itd be about 400 hahaha. Idk where they get the number from
Its a good puzzle rating, Just don't expect it to mean that you will be able to beat good players, because it doesn't bear any correlation.
Today's puzzle of the day was a beauty, mate in 6, but it took me more than half an hour to figure it out.
The highest ratings are around 65000

So no. 2600 is not good.
They are probably hacking the system so i think 2600 is good.
i dont really think that 65k is cheating, if u have premium membership u can play infinite puzzles a day, so, if u are really someone with mental health problems and you propose to urself to do that u could get easily a very high-rating, btw i dont know what the max is but still i dont really think max is 65k, but 4k is a very possible rating im on 3k and the puzzles that shows to me are pretty hard most of the time, but every 5 or 6 puzzles one thats very easy shows up, by the moment the max elo challenge that i saw was like 2600, maybe max is 2800, but still to do that puzzles you dont really need to be that elo, with some time normally someone with 1600+ elo can solve them, and sometimes some 2.5k elo puzzles are very easy, not just for me, i think that the system that calculates the elo is very bad cause a puzzle of just 1 move that is so easy to see cant really be 2.6k elo
some chess players are really stupid no doubt on that im talking about u mister 2600 is. abv avg puzzle rating to say the least from a human like standpoint even gms dont go beyond 5000 n even if they want they will reach till 10k max 65k is jus impossible talking about those they arent hacking or anything but just playing the same position on some other engine to check the move so ya n this was pretty obvious but ofc ur dumb so ya
I hit 2900 puzzle rating is that good?
