I would guess it's an old book. With modern engine power it is easy to see that black wins in many ways and Qe3 is just one of them.

Hi everybody. It's black's turn. According to the book, the answer is Qe3, and in the next move, the queen will win a rook on H6. FYI this puzzle is in the chapter on gaining a rook.
I'm wondering why this is true while white can also capture black's rook with his knight.
Any help is much appreciated
