I just realized, should the last letter be "お" or "う"? Or is it either one?

It should be う, as school is "gakkou", not "gakkoo". "gaku" is a basic root for education-relation (e.g. gakusei for student)

Uhm... I had to look in my notes, but I think it's either こぶ or ぶつける (looked it up, and got mixed results). I dunno, though.
