Sadly, I will have to block all who even utter a word of religion or politics, to avoid the forum getting locked for no reason.

Disclaimer: I do not actually believe climate change to be a hoax.

Well in the past there has been severe climate change. Much, much more severe than what we are currently seeing. And the world didn't end.

I think a lot of people just expect things to be absolutely perfect, at all times. So even the slightest disruption of what they think things should be gets them all flummoxed.

Did the second climate change thread get locked?

AbyssalSludge

Yes, and for no reason, as well.

Climate is always changing, long before humans have existed, and will continue to do so long after humans cease to exist.

It has never been an issue to worry about.

Sobrukai

You were beaten twice and now you’re looking for a third time.

AbyssalSludge

I was not beaten twice. The second thread was locked for no reason and not even one warning.

agreed

Your points were beaten down by simple logic and some reliable sources… twice.

Maybe your threads would last longer if you stopped being disingenuous in the title/first post. Last thread you said absolutely no personal attacks and didn't police them at all, and called climate change a huge hoax with a disclaimer...this time you just have the disclaimer, but still you knowingly choose the trolling/sensationalistic title that you claim is not your position at all. You just want to stir controversy, and that is what you end up with...so the fate of your threads is pretty inevitable.

Try posting "I don't agree climate change is a big deal", without a disclaimer.

A fair enough alternate thread title, rather more sanguine than the hysterical header in another place.

your...you...you...you...you...you...your...you...you...your

Don't worry 876, I did it for you.

Copying the same oft-repeated non-argument isn't going to do much of anything, you just don't want to address the uncomfortable points in my post, ergo the deflection tactics.

Sobrukai
Turns out “you” and “your” are words commonly seen when talking to someone AbyssalSludge. How long did it take you to figure that out?

People must contribute to global efforts to transition away from personal pronouns “in a just, orderly and equitable manner, accelerating action in this critical decade, so as to achieve net zero personal pronouns by 2050 in keeping with the science”

"Uncomfortable points"? What point should I be uncomfortable with, you calling me a troll?

I'm not *calling* you a troll. Your choice of topic/subject and your disclaimer/actual position demonstrate it conclusively.
