I am astonished that chess.com allows this kind of stuff. This tournament screams "scam" quite loudly.

Just because the prices add up doesn't mean this isn't just a scam. While this might be someone trying to host a friendly chess tournament, there isn't really a way to know if the person will take the money and run. It just seems incredibly suspicious to send money to a random person's email address.
