No, this is not a good place for elementary school kids. Most of the people are nice but there are definitely a few that you don't want interacting with innocent kids.

Nah.I’m 11 and chesskid is wayyyyyy too easy so I recommend chess.com. Though for ur rating chesskid might be better.
