Hello Texas School Chess Sponsors and Coaches,
You can find contact information for all the Regional Directors and Scholastic Representatives for your region on the Texas Chess Association website. The Govenance/About page includes a map with regions marked. The Governance/officer page lists all the Regional Directors and Scholastic Representatives. Brenda Hardesty provided great information above. I am posting in case missed Brenda's advice above, or in case you are closer to Lubbock than San Angelo. 
If you happen to be within driving distance of Lubbock, I can share events scheduled in Lubbock. We have at least one USCF rated event scheduled most months. If your players are new, Texas Tech Chess offers a few unrated scholastic events each semester, which are great beginner events that include team trophies for schools. The Texas Tech events are not yet scheduled, but I expect they'll share the fall dates by September.
