It isn't advertising if it isn't my server, so, check your facts, little guy

Don't know where you got this pile of BS from. But it definitely IS still advertising NO MATTER whose server it is. Maybe want to double check the terms of service next time "sadie" 😏

Your son plays bullet and blitz regularly, isn't it? You should reduce his games playing blitz and bullet. How? Figure it out.

Oh also, if you guys have discord, I'm a member of a server that I found last week, and they discuss time management as well. They also have numerous titled players in it as well.

Invite link is here - it really helped me in my own training as well.

If u want ur kid to play slower-

simply drop him off at the tourney and tell him u’ll be back in 1/2 hour to pick him up, his normal playing time. u have an appointment that must be kept so no horsing around in a prolonged game.

Just come across this in search. Here is my sharing. My son is 6 years old. I talked to a GM who teaches kids for years, From her observation, as the kids become stronger in chess, they will automatically slow down.

From my observation in a recent 15m tournament with 30 kids, almost all the kids finish the game within 10m. This is to my surprise.

There are few ways I am doing.

1. Compulsory min 10 seconds per move. Be careful of this. If the time is too long, the kid will lost concentration, and might blunder. You need to find a sweet spot in here. A time that is enough for him to finish his checklist for every move.

My calculation is: 3 second to find a move, 3 seconds to check for opponents move, 2 seconds for blunder check and fork check.

2. Play with robot. Robot will move the pieces straight away without waiting for robot thinking time. I am aware the "human like" problem in robot, but we are training concentration here. I have a few occasions that while my son is waiting for opponent move in chess tournament, he lost concentration and look around

4. I have set a timetable for him to follow as well. For example, in a 10min game, 7 moves should be completed per minute.
