The game aborts after a minimum of 15 seconds in a 1 minute game. Its longer for longer time controls. Possibly you have lost connection without realising and this has caused the server to abort the games.
Bug in game abort? "Please do not start a game unless you are ready to play."
I don't think so. And even in that case, how would the system decide to abort my game after just 1 or 2 seconds, even if I lost the connection, that's not the expected behavior, usually the system waits for you to reconnect.
Besides, I have a really good optical fiber connection at home which never ever fails.
This has happened to me too. Several times in the last month.
Just now I moved within two seconds and got this message.
It cant be my connection because when that fails I have 20 seconds before I forfiet the game.

Connection failures at the beginning of a game aren't as lenient. In bullet you have 10 seconds and in blitz 15 seconds to make the first move. If you are disconnected you will get counted as abandoned.

Regular disconnects a completely dependent on the time control.
Thanks for the extra info.
But these are both more than 2 seconds. In the last instance I made my move with 2:58 pon the clock (3 minute game).
This is definitely a bug in the system.
There are several times in which I have received the message:
Just because I took 1 or 2 seconds to move and then the game is aborted and I receive the message above. This is totally nonsense.
I think the system is giving me this warning after my opponent aborted the game.
