Clock weirdness

Not sure if this has happened to anyone else but during my last game I had the odd experience of my clock running out immediately as soon as my opponent made a move and loosing on time. I don’t think I’ve experienced anything like this before, not sure if it’s a site bug or something

What you're describing is a disconnect from the live server and when it reconnected the actual board state and clock was updated.

I have experienced this twice in 2 days, with me losing both games due to ‘abandonedment’ even though I was watching their clock count down

This happened 5 times in the last three days: 4 times to me and once to an opponent. I'm using iOS app. This started happening after iOS update, but totally unclear if that is the cause.

This happens to me consistently over the past week or so. Especially in 3 minute games. To the point where I chat with opponent to see if they have moved and one has said they moved bishop D2 for example but I didn’t see the move on the board. Unbeknownst to me my clock was ticking down and I lose. This has significantly affected my rating.
