Yes, I agree, it is very annoying not getting instant access to game review. Why can't they allow direct access to it in Play like it was in Live? Please...
Game Review should be displayed in the same window as play.

I dont think Live had it either. I think in Live if you clicked on game review it opened a new tab as well. Game review shouldnt open a new chrome tab, it has to be on the same page as play/the game itself.
It was an easyier access though, just one click. Now I have to click three or four places before game review reviels itself.
I wrote them an email about it with the feedback tool but they dont even reply. Kind off pointless.

The feedback tool will only get replies, in most cases, if they have questions or if the suggestion already exists you might get a message about it.

If it was in the same window all the review code would need to load with play, adding to complexity and load. Part of the reason for the play interface is to keep non-playing features separate so it can be updated more easily.

Interesting. However for the user imo it still would be much nicer, if the game review would load within play and not in a new chrome tab (which disrupts the experience and is more cumbersome). Maybe there are too many drawbacks for the developers but for the end user it would be nice (if all other aspects would stay the same, i.e. speed etc).
If I play a game and click on game review it shouldnt redirect me to a completely new site/window. Right now it opens a new tab when i click on game review after the game. Much better would be to stay in the same tab. Its cumbersome to have to close the tab etc after reviewing the game.
