Strike bug- 1 second arenas are a bad idea.
yeah. for hikaru it is a arena and playing people the same reason
oh true. I think it could be because that account is monitored by chess.com or something? I'm coming into this without any background knowledge XD. it could also possible be because it was a blitz arena so there was more time between games
Naka has said on stream that he has to request speed run accounts and that everyone he beats gets their rating points back, so chess.com is definitely aware and involved and could easily augment any automated actions that could get in the way.
I wonder if it is automatic or else Hikaru's speedrun account would also got that warning but this might be a problem. IDK
Hikaru's games are typically 20+ moves, the main reason they were stricken with sandbagging was because the moves were typically around 3 or 4.
the most i got in this tourney was like 6 moves
i got 9 moves in one game, where my opponent and i premoved every single move and nothing interrupted our premoves lol
Hi guys
so in a hyperbullet tournament, 2 nonsus people got cheat detected because of how bad the cheat detection is in 1 second. One was lucky enough to get a warning and ban in live chess for 60 minutes, but the other got banned for fair play completely. Since publicly shaming banned accounts is permitted, here is the banned one @Vinumon555. If you want the one with the warning, PM me. type +1 to agree with the petition

@Vinumon555 was closed unfairly I believe. Look at his games, his losses were all from 1sec

So in a club that I'm an admin in (that specializes in super fast time control chess), I recently created a 1 second arena. I thought it would be a fun experience, and would be more competitive and strategical than most arenas.
The problem:
One of the people in the club recently told me that they got an hour suspension from live chess and a warning for sandbagging. They suspected that they got this because of achieving a high winning streak in the arena. So I checked it out.
In the arena, FOUR PEOPLE with scores were under others with a score of zero. Two of them had streaks of 15+, one of which reported this bug to the club. I'm assuming these four got a warning for... doing well in the 1 second arena?
Solutions:
I think the Chess.com warning system is possibly automatic, and marked these people as sandbagging suspects because they won a lot of games in a row really quickly. So I think maybe the warning system should also take into account time control, because in time controls like this rating has a much less effect because this type of chess requires a totally different skill. Ok, done. I hope this gets solved because this is a serious issue.
