The new tactics trainer is harder but fun. It does however happen I am told I am wrong on a puzzle but the solution say the correct move is the one I tried. Has happen 6 to 8 times and I am only on Stone lv. 3
The puzzles selection is the exact same as the regular puzzle mode.
Are you trying to premove the solution?
Hmm. Not sure what you mean, but don't premove when puzzling
I don't have iOS so don't know if there may be a bug on it. I don't believe I have ever seen an issue with the feature on Android where it doesn't accept the he correct moves

I haven't seen any other reports of correct answers failing to be correct.

Maybe the first move should be Rxe1, but why is it showing the wrong solution?
