Hi guys,

The 2010 World Chess Championship is only 7 days away.  I have been wondering what kind of coverage Chess.com is going to have.  I sure hope it is more than just a news article each day.  I hope they will follow the games live.  Perhaps let us follow the games and have access to an analysis board at the same time.  Or perhaps a vote chess forum, where we might collectively guess at the next move?!  I assume they will have one or more of our resident grand master analyze the games.  I hope that they do that analysis live.

What coverage would you like to see on Chess.com?

We better have some massive coverage... it would be great for Chess.com as well.

Is it going to be televised?

Quite often the major events have exclusive arrangements for live transmission.  This can be gotten around somewhat by relaying from an authorized outlet if you aren't one.  I generally find the live transmissions are most valuable with GM commentary.  If there is no competent commentary I'll wait for the published score so I can look at the game, aided by dBase and computer, in a meager attempt to understand the moves.  Live transmission minus the commentary leaves me moves behind in comprehension anyway.

I think sonofpearl did a great job on Anand-Kramnik - it's what first drew me to the site. Hope we get the same for Anand-Topalov.

Are any bookies going to take or lay odds on winner?
