A personal bookcase?

A thought for what it is worth...

It would be great to have the option of a personal 'bookcase' of articles / blogs / forum posts /videos / etc. which could be easily referenced...

The way I was envisaging it was:
- whenever you see an article / forum post / view a game / watch a video / etc. where you think it would be worth 'bookmarking' it then there would be an icon alongside which you click to bookmark it - it would simply store in the database the id of that article / post / video / etc. against your own id...
- then a menu option listing by category all the items you have bokmarked in simple table format - allowing you to click and go to the live article / video / etc.

it would be a fantastic repository / personalisation of the site.

you could also very easily then run stats against such a table to show popularity of articles etc.

Actually a fantastic idea!  Instead of having bookmarks, this would seem like a nicer way to manage this.

I agree, outstanding idea.
