It's the "new and improved" attempt by Microsoft to create a relavent competitor to the Ipod touch/Iphone. There's a good reason why you haven't heard of it....they're not too keen on marketing the product in the U.S.
Last I heard, the platform wasn't exactly user friendly as far as 3rd party apps were concerned. Microsoft doesn't appear to be supporting the idea of making the platform easily accessible to 3rd party developers. Their marketplace has a pathetically small number of apps. Looks like they're hoping watching 720p in "teeny-tiny-eye-strain-o-vision" will be enough to sell those.
So, I recently aquierd the AWESOME zuneHD, and I was wondering if chess.com is planning on making an app or is there a user created one?
If there is not, can this act as a request? :)
